My website is dedicated to bringing images based on a water theme to the world to behold. Water the basis of all life. Without water life could not survive. Water is the source of ultimate relaxation. Whether we are immersed within or enjoying the reflection of light from it, water has a profound affect on our body and soul. The images presented here have captured some special views from upon or within our water resources.
The color of water is influenced greatly by the surface movement and especially by the sky color and light conditions. It’s so radically different on a sunny day vs. an overcast day.
I have always had a love for the water. As an avid swimmer as a child, the introduction to scuba diving in '88 was a natural transition. It didn't take me long to purchase an underwater camera. Most dives had me taking my camera in tow. Now the camera rig is larger and much more fun to see the experience of the dive immediately. Most times, I'm evaluating the image down at depth.
WaterImages contains a mixture of film and digital images. Currently, I am using a Nikon D300. For underwater images, I house the camera within a Sea&Sea MDX housing. In the past I have used a Nikonos V camera usually with Fuji film.
All images are available for purchase. You can reach me by email at wtaylor@waterimages.com.
